The League of American Bicyclists has built momentum: after hearing from advocates at the National Bike Summit, the Senate introduced a bill to make a number of improvements to the Transportation Alternatives program which accounts for nearly 50% of all federal funding for biking and walking projects.
To put an additional $350 million into biking and walking projects in communities like yours across the country, we need your help in the House.
Tell the House to support HR 5231 at this link:

For this bill to become law, we need the House of Representatives. Representatives Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) and Rick Larsen (WA-2) introduced the House version, HR 5231, of the Transportation Alternatives Enhancement Act just before Thanksgiving. Help us secure more co-sponsors for this bill before New Years!
By taking action, you're joining the chorus of voices asking our nation's leaders to get serious about building safer, better places for people to bike and walk.
For an in-depth look at how HR 5231 will improve the Transportation Alternatives program, read about it on the LAB blog. https://bikeleague.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=eb89ca754070e189bcb1c9928&id=b495f847d2&e=68fa4ade57
