Of Note:

22 years ago the Cotton Pickin' Metric Century ride was established by the Rock Hill Bicycle Club as a tribute to Rock Hill's textile heritage.  However, the club's Board realizes that times have changed, and so must the ride.  Therefore, this will be the last year that the Club's Fall ride will be known as the Cotton Pickin'.  The ride will continue, but starting next year it will have a new name.  The Board will work with it's members and city officials to select a name that highlights Rock Hill's heritage
